Current Goal

The current goal for this disc is to visit 50 Disc Golf courses before returning home. For those of you unfamiliar with Disc Golf, Disc Golf is a game played similar to ball golf, but with a flying disc. Frisbee is the most popular brand of flying disc, but there are many other companies that make flying disc designed specifically for golf.

Geocaching and Disc Golf make great partners. I think many of you would enjoy Disc Golf, as it shares many of the same outdoor experiences with geocaching. Someday I imagine a world where every disc golf course has a geocache nearby!

    Found this today in a cache that was in a beautiful conservation area west of St. Louis. I'll move it along to near a Frisbee Golf course soon. There are several near where I live.

    Okay, I have 2 strikes. Number one-When I grabbed your travel bug I was using my fathers computer and did not realize I was signed in under his name. I am unable to drop your bug into the geo-site from my computer. It did get dropped off in St. Louis today: gcmn2x. Strike #2-the frisbee golf couse I was going to place your bug in flooded in the spring and the cache site got washed away. Sorry! We do have one in Forest park and I bet yours will make it there soon enough. I just know I wont be in that park for a while. I thought better to keep it on the move. Thanks.

    Bummer, we just go back from a visit to Austin, Tx and visited a disc golf course there, in fact, we found a cache along the course.
