Current Goal

The VGC 2006 Geocoin - Wilg edition is the personal geocoin of the geocacher Wilg and one of twelve different geocoins minted during a collective project called "Vereenigde Geocoins Compagnie" (VGC) led by KarelKraak. In total two different finishings of this coin were produced: antique silver and black nickel.

All geocoins designed during the VGC 2006 project shares the same icon, prefix and design for the backside of the coins, while the front was designed by the teams themselves. The backside of the geocoin shows the letters VGC in front and the Dutch flag colors in the background. VGC are respecting the VOC, a trading company from earlier days. The backside is framed by a blue border with the text 'Vereenigde Geocoins Compagnie' and 'De Iurie Predea'. It is the latin title of a book by Hugo de Groot about the right of booty.

Tijdens het geocoinfest in Eindhoven heb ik ook de tentoonstelling van coins en andere trackables bekeken. Deel van deze tentoonstelling waren onder andere deze coins. Hier even iemand gevraagd om een mooie foto te nemen zodat ik het lijstje kon opvragen.
Mooie collective hoor. Het viel mij vooral op dat er van sommige coins zoveel "verschillende" zijn. Maar soms moet je goed kijken om het verschil te ontdekken.

Tijdens het bezoek van mijn eerste mega geocoin event in Eindhoven heb ik vele mooie geocoins mogen bewonderen/ontdekken!

Während des diesjährigen Geocoinevents in Eindhoven konnten wir in der Ausstellung sehr viele ausgefallene Coins bewundern. Dieser ist einer davon.

Vandaag toch nog onverwachts kunnen deelnemen aan het Geocoinfest 2015 in Eindhoven. Wat een verrassing ! Heerlijk ! Helaas moet ik alleen erheen omdat "Fre" en "Be" andere activiteiten hebben maar zo heb ik veel tijd om zoveel mooie coins te kunnen bewonderen.

Het is echt genieten op een mega manifestatie als deze. Zoveel mooie en bijzondere coins en tb's. Hartelijk dank Dragonchild om je prachtige collectie met ons te delen !

Beim Geocoinfest Europe 2015 Netherlands in eindhovenhttp://coord.info/GC5E266 gab es natürlich jede Menge Geocoins zu bestaunen. Die meisten waren allerdings unaktiviert und sollten gekauft oder getauscht werden. Die imposante Sammlung von Geo-Dragonchild hat es mir besonders angetan - wirklich tolle Coins!!! Das eine oder andere Schmuckstück würde auch gut in meine Sammlung passen! ;-)
