Again, military brats, what can you do? (Trust me, I took a couple of back-and-forths out.)
This trackable made possible by: Josh Bruce
I'm a minimalist; so, it seems fitting that my trackable is the smallest shell, in the smallest bag. Of course, eventually, none of it will be there. I also like to be mobile. I may not travel much but I like knowing that I can. Same can be said of this trackable and its hitchhiker.
Origins of "hido," K.D., and the road trip
"Hido" was a greeting my mother, Kathy Bruce started saying in the mid-nineties. It was a consolidation of, "Hi, how are you doing?" into one word. Like Namaste for Enlgish speakers.
Mom's middle initial was "D". Katie was the name of her grandmother (her mom's mom). First initial plus middile initial, phonetically results in the same sound.
The Hido K.D. Road Trip is a tribute to my mother who passed away March 1st, 2019. She loved road trips and traveling. These trackables let her keep doing so for however long they last..
