Do Not Keep This Coin, Please Keep It Moving!

This coin is being released as part of the Todie's Wild Ride Bike Awareness Project initiated by Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his good friend Tod Phillips. On August 12, 2008, Tod was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was one third of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. This coin is released in his memory and in memory of all motorcyclists killed on the road. As part of this coins journey, I would like to collect different tips for drivers to be more aware of motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians. Feel free to add any tips you wish to the logs to share with others.

Really sorry to hear of your loss. I was a little more fortunate but hurt badly none-the-less when I swerved for a rabbit and wound up with my bike in a ditch and me laying 30' away. Fractured C6 & C7 vertebrates, it took 6 months to recover and I still have numbness in my right hand. I haven't ridden since but sometimes wish I had the nerves to get back on and ride like the wind!
