WhiskeySowers started caching in Feb 2016 while stationed in South Korea. She hosted the local 2016 GIFF event at Hospitality House outside Osan Air Base. During the summer of 2017, Whiskey found out she'd be moving to Grand Forks AFB for her next assignment. Though she was unfamiliar with Grand forks, she was determined to host another GIFF event. The 2017 GIFF event was held at a co-working space in downtown Grand Forks less than a week after she arrived. God bless the internet :). Hosting GIFFs became something Whiskey decided she would always do. So, the 2018 GIFF was held at the same co-working space. This year's event followed suit - with the addition of a taco bar.
