We found the perfect cache to place the coin today - number 10 in a series of 12 caches placed in honor of the Boy Scouts 100th anniversary last year. It's also part of the "game" of caching, as when a cacher finds all 12 caches they are awarded a Caching to Eagle patch. The cache was placed by a very active scout leader who helped get the caching merit badge program for scouts started in our area.

We took Nov. 06 along on our Hudson caching day today. They seem to have put in a HUGE series of fire hydrant caches for the Hudson Hot Air Affair (looks like 50 altogether!) - this cache was number one in that series. We're going to do about a dozen of them before we head back home but didn't think you'd want to see that many visited logs (as they're all micros), so we'll just log this one visit.
