Current Goal

Poor Ahkned. He became separated from him Mummy back during the 3rd Dynasty in Egypt. He was a stonemason helping Imhotep build the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. After lunch on one particularly hot day, he crawled into a sarcophagus to take a short nap and awoke 4600 years later in the middle of a traveling Egyptian artifact art exhibit in Hickory, North Carolina. He couldn't find anyone he recognized and when he tried to ask for directions back to Egypt, everyone ran away screaming. And he thought the South was supposed to be so friendly. Ahkned would like your assistance in helping him find his mummy. He's sure she's here in the U.S. somewhere, he just doesn't know where. Do you suppose you could help him on his way? He would be SO appreciative. If you're helpful to him, he may even refrain from throwing the curse of Tutankhamen on you.

About This Item

I Want My Mummy

Ahkned was rescued from another cache "Treasures From My First 100 Caches" earlier this summer and was turned into a travel bug. I think he will enjoy this much more than being a mere guardian of a set of keys.

Dropped Ahkned off in the :I-40 MP 136 East Travel Bug Motel". I felt kind of bad because there were no other travel bugs in the motel to keep him company. Besides, this is his first night away from home since becoming a travel bug and he may get lonely out there all by himself. Worse yet, a muggle may come by. Let's hope someone comes by soon to help him along his way.
