Der Engel der Hoffnung
Dieser schlichte grüne Engel wurde am Ende eines Gottesdienstes für Trauernde verteilt. Ich empfand das als gelungene Geste, soll er doch trauernden Menschen ein wenig Hoffnung in ihr Leben bringen. Er kann auch in anderen Situationen Symbol der Hoffnung sein - unsere Welt hat ihn an allen Enden bitter nötig!
The angel of hope
This simple green angel was distributed at the end of a service for mourners. I found this to be a sensitive gesture, as it was intended to bring grieving people a little hope into their lives. It can also be a symbol of hope in other situations - our world desperately needs it at all ends!
