Current Goal

The Ring of Power would like to COME HOME to me in San Jose, California.

The original goal was to have it travel the perimeter of the lower 48 states (see map below). But after a promising start, it has languished in Wisconsin for nearly a year and a half, bouncing between random caches, TB hotels, and events. So I've given up on the lofty goal and I'll settle for it making it home someday. :)

Please, no "discovered it" logs on this travel bug, it really needs to be moved along! Discovery logs will be deleted without additional warning.

This TB is home! That's after 8 years and over 8,000 miles.

Thanks to all who moved it along on its mission(s), especially to skycatcher who made the final, formal hand-over. It was nice to meet you and also good to see Marky & Joani again. (How many TB Hotels come with a garden fruit tasting?)

I will probably retire this TB, as one of the rare TBs that didn't get lost or stolen over the years. I still have a ton of duplicate tags so maybe I'll send out a new wave of TBs, but I expect they'd mostly just vanish as usual. We'll see.
