This is the Official 2019 Groundspeak Lacky geocoin. Like most of the other Lackey geocoins that have come before it, it is big, beautiful and too nice to just toss into a geocache and hope it does not go missing. Luckily this coin came with a matching Travel Tag which will travel the world. So this coin can travel the world and stay in my collection at the same time. The geocoin will attand geocaching events, visit 
significant caches and go to other places where it may be enjoyed and discovered by other geocachers, but stay in my collection while at the same time the travel tag roams the world.
This coin looks like a huge 3 fold map titled "Geocaching HQ".
On the other side you see the lackeys after you open up this geocoin, you will see all the Lackeys who devote their time so that the sport of geocaching continues to work each day. On this coin, just like in real life they are not visible from the outside but, geocaching would not function with out them.
A "Groundspeak Lackey" is a term used to refer to the employees and founders of Groundspeak who do the most basic tasks to support the overall needs of the community. This willingness to serve each other and provide recreation for a worldwide community is a core value of our company.
They accept the term Lackey with pride since we are beholden to the community for our success. Like the satelites we use to find caches, we almost never see them yet we all know geocaching just would not work with out them and all of their hard work and long hours.
