Current Goal

Cachemonster Iggy looks a bit like a dinosaur, so he'd really love to visit as many dinosaur related places as possible. He especially loves to have his photo taken with other dinosaurs (of any kind or size!). Please post your photos of Iggy and his dinosaur friends here in his log so he'll have a pictoral record of his travels.

About This Item

Cachemonster Iggy

Cachemonster Iggy is the first Travel Bug I've ever released, and the first of my Cachemonsters. A Cachemonster is a little beastie, an original sculpture (by yours truly) that would like to travel around the world. Cachemonsters are friendly and won't bite or scare small children. In fact, most of them are quite silly and enjoy making folks giggle. Please help Iggy to visit as many different places as he can!

Found him in an appropriately named cache. Looks like he was missing for a while, but is now safe and sound in my geocaching backpack. Will move him along after a visit to the dino display at the University.

IGGY is on the road again. I didn't know he wanted to have his photo taken with other dinosaurs. We passed some life-sized dinosaurs (yes, as tall as a house!) later in the afternoon and I would have stopped there for a few moments to take some pictures. I just might be back that way soon, so I'll make an effort to stop.

  • IGGY being dwarfed by a T. Rex IGGY is in my hand. He's hard to see in this shot. In the background, there's a Brontosaurus lurking about.
  • IGGY up close to the T. Rex IGGY doesn't look too happy at being this close to his cousin!
  • IGGY checking out the Brontosaurus
  • Another shot of IGGY and the Brontosaurus The gate was closed today, so we stayed back in the parking area. That Brontosaurus is life size, by the way!
  • IGGY perched on my Jeep's hood IGGY with the Brontosaurus in the distance. These dinosaurs are all located at a place called Flamborough Patio Furniture on Highway 6, north of Hamilton, Ontario.

You can even see the Brontosaurus in the Google satellite view!
