Large coin with heft.  Unusual shape.  The coin is done in black enamel with green etched 3-D script.  The front shows a meandering trail with script that reads "Always on the go".   The reverse script reads "Cache Hiker hitching a ride from one cache to another.  This coin is in the shape of a hand that is "hitching a ride"  NIce coin.

Info on the coin:  The cacher UOTrackers aka Jennifer from Aiken (South Carolina) designed this "hitchhiker" geocoin at the end of 2006. On December 6, 2006, the only edition of 485 pieces was sold in Black Nickel in the Geocoinstore in time for the Christmas business. In addition, there was an XLE 15 Artist Edition in shiny nickel, which UOTrackers received.

The 50 x 38 x 3.5 mm geocoin shows an irregular dashed green line on the black front, which describes the movement of a geocoin from cache to cache. The text "Always on the go." indicates that geocoins should move constantly.
On the back, also in softenamel, the coin name in green and the text "Hitching a ride from one cache to another." can be read.

So many of my trackables have been muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals.  If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands.  Thanks.  ML

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that she had discovered, I found that a large number all belonged to several individuals and sent a message to them individually inquiring about permission to log their trackables. This travel bug was on the list that you shared with me.
