Retrieve It from a Cache 9/21/2007 Justcaching90 retrieved it from Dead End Barrel Florida   Visit Log

My daughter and I looked for this cache and she found it. This was my daughters first cache found so I let her take the geocoin so that we can place it at another cache. When I got back to my car a police officer was waiting for me to ask what I was doing in the woods in the pouring rain with an 11 year old girl. I told him I was geocaching. He said "Okay so everything is a 10-4?" I said "Yes Sir" and he went on his way. Someone at Crackle Barrel alerted him. Just becareful out there and be ready to explain geocaching to people that may find you strange.

Heading over seas for another tour in the desert, I will try to find a new home in one of the warmer (not as hospitable) place in the world. Hope this helps to take peoples mind off whats happening over there.
Take care and i will post as soon as i drop it off

Retrieve It from a Cache 5/21/2007 freshair4me retrieved it from "Lost Cabin" of Lower Mazinaw Ontario, Canada   Visit Log

Well a fine coin indeed and well worth the paddle to get to it on a rough windy Sunday of the May long weekend. Shaker962 and I (freshair4me) thought that seeing as the "Lost Cabin of Lower Mazinaw" cache had not been done yet since it was planted, we would tempt fate and do it on a white cap water kind of day. Low and behold the cache got done by a camper the day before, but they placed this very nice coin in the cache and we took it out.....LOL
Moving on shortly, I hate hanging on to them too long.
Happy Caching from freshair4me.
Update... today May 31st 2007 I gave pweir the coin and he is very shortly on route to Kandahar where he will place it in a cache over in the desert. Well now that is making miles.....

A very cool coin. I will have to take it back to Kingston to show the kids, and then will drop it in a nearby cache.
