My TB would like to visit the homes of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Please attach a photo of the house, or anything Laura!! Help me to travel west to Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota...
Laura's travels begin at Pepin, Wisconsin (Little House in the Big Woods) which is Laura's 1867 birthplace. It treks south to Independence, Kansas (Little House on the Prairie), then heads north to Walnut Grove, Minnesota (On the Banks of Plum Creek) to the dugout remains along Plum Creek. The final stopping place for her family is further west to De Smet, South Dakota (Little Town on the Prairie), home of Laura from 1879-1894. Not featured in the "Little House" series, but home of the Ingalls are the Masters Hotel in Burr Oak, Iowa, where the family lived in 1876-1877 and the Almanzo Wilder Home (Farmer Boy) in Mansfield, Missouri.
Finally, I would love to have someone place a flower on Laura's grave for me.
THANK YOU very, very much!
Lauren
