Current Goal

A lateral thinking puzzle comprised of two rings and two loops. The idea is to separate them and then put them back together. This puzzle is considered 'moderate'. Once you solve it, pass it on. UPDATED GOAL: These puzzles would like to make it to any cache near Lehi, Utah, to meet DOUGC who has released some other puzzle bugs.

About This Item

Bilateral

I found these puzzles from a British company called The Mad Cow Company, and actually purchased them from an importer in Colorado called A Bit of Britain. Both are family owned and were very nice. I have been conversing with them through email letting them know my progress in solving their puzzles. I plan to buy them all and release them all as Travel Bugs after I solve them. I expect to release...

  • Bilateral
  • Trilateral
  • Quadrilateral
Half the fun of these lateral thinking type of puzzles is to pass them on and see how your friends do. I thought this would be a good venue for just that. So, do your best to solve the puzzle, and put it back in its original state (sometimes the more difficult trick) and pass it on to the next geocacher. Have fun, and let me know how you did.

This bug is MIA. The cache it was in somehow was either run over by a road grader or stolen. Sorry about your cache.

I found this bug at the Pasadena Hunting Club cache. I solved the puzzle with the bug after studying it a little-it's interesting.. Funny, I had been to the Pasadena Hunting Club cache site 3 times without spotting the cache.. then, on the 4th time I used the clue and found the cache today after having been previously within a yard of it more than once.. THEN.. inside.. I also discovered the TRAVEL BUG!! 😮 What a great surprise after all those no-find days.
