GRANDparents’ Canadian Roadtrip
Grandparents are the best!
And, ours are exceptional! They cheer us on in our sports, encourage us in our schooling, teach us about cooking, cars and camping. We play games together and just plain enjoy each others’ company.
To celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2018, our gRANDparents started out to see our beautiful country - Canada! They were so excited and made so many plans - they would be in Richmond, BC for the big day - August 31, 2018. They sent pictures to show us their travels and to keep us updated on their journey.
Unfortunately, due to the wildfires and some health issues (Ideopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis), the trip was cut short - maybe next summer. Unfortunately, 2019 was not the year either as health issues kept them housebound.
Now, because of COVID-19 (and IPF), they still are unable to travel, BUT...this beautiful community of geocachers is hopefully up to the challenge to show them this AMAZING country - virtually!
So, please, as you continue your caching adventures, move this Travel Bug along to show them Canada! Post pictures of all the exciting/popular/off-the-beaten track places you know, you love, you visit or you live in. Let’s see our beautiful country!
