I was born at the S*W*A*G's Yuma Mega Event on 9 Feb 2020 at the West Wetlands Park, Yuma, Arizona on 9 Feb 2020. This coin was given for completing the Discover Yuma Series #7. .Alex and I earned this coin. Only given to geocachers who complete the Discover Yuma Series #7 geocaches. There were 20 geocaches. It took us 4 hours and 90 miles Driving through beautiful Yuma to find all the caches. Fun fun.
This event featured a new icon, Locationless with taking a pic of yourself with Signal or Signal Banner. I traveled to San Diego and met up with my geofriend Alex, Quigley's Mom where we traveled from SAN to the Yuma, AZ mega event. On 9 Feb we had a busy day picking up 13 different icons as we traveled back to San Diego area and ended with an event with Scott, gsmX2 called Taking the Long Way Home. Met so many new and old friends as we tunnel together at the last few caches in CA. Ocotillo CITO and a webcam on the La Jolla Beach called Surfs Up. What timing we had with the rain and tide. Lowest tide at 330pm went we got the webcam and no rain when ever we exited a building, car, etc. LOL. It was cold in CA and I wore Trix's scarf she knitted for me. Couple days before I left I took her and oakpiper her husband to the ER. Glad all is well. Love my scarf. So many memories on this trip with my friends. Love my hobby.
