This is a new cache that popped up close to my home and I was among the first to find it! Even had some TBs inside already and I couldn’t resist picking up a few. However, my TB ranks really swelled in Maryland and now I need to place some. It’s getting to be too big a contingent to manage. This new and convenient cache appeared with perfect timing as I’m on a tight schedule! I needed a find near my home to bring my trackables back here from my last trip. We head out tomorrow on our big vacation.
This cache was an ammo can under the dash on the passenger side of the old car in the background.

This is a write only note with picture as there are no caches inside here. It’s a very cold, clear morning in our nation’s capital today. Nice day to fly! The trackables are pictured with the Washington Monument and Capitol in the distant background (have to zoom in to see it from here). That is the purpose of this post. It will take me all day to get back home via San Diego and I’ll miss the superbowl parties. This trip was planned well before all that. Otherwise, I would have adjusted the timetable a bit.

I picked up this TB at a nice trackable hotel. Will move it along.
A special thanks to the owner that shoved a path in the snow to the hotel and the doors, allowing them to open. Also thawed out the lock. It’s 11* and well below zero with the windchill.
