Je suis débarqué sur les plages normandes il y'a plus de 80 ans maintenant pour libérer l'Europe. J'aimerais bien revoir ma terre natale et surtout là où j'ai été assemblé c'est à dire à Toledo en Ohio USA.
I landed on the Normandy beaches more than 80 years ago now to liberate Europe. I would like to see my homeland again and especially where I was assembled, that is to say in Toledo Ohio USA.
La Willys MB, plus connue sous son surnom de « Jeep », est un véhicule tout-terrain léger conçu en 1940 et sorti d'usine en 1941 sur un cahier des charges de l'armée américaine. La Willys MB est presque identique à la Ford GPW et a été fabriquée de l'année 1941 jusqu'à l'année 1945. Elle est considérée comme un des emblèmes de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Après la guerre, la Willys MB a évolué en Jeep CJ, « CJ » pour une abréviation de « Civilian Jeep » (« Jeep civile » en français), et a été reconnue comme un symbole d'aventure.
The Willys MB, better known by its nickname "Jeep", is a light all-terrain vehicle designed in 1940 and left the factory in 1941 to specifications of the US Army. The Willys MB is almost identical to the Ford GPW and was manufactured from the year 1941 until the year 1945. It is considered one of the emblems of the Second World War. After the war, the Willys MB evolved into Jeep CJ, "CJ" for an abbreviation of "Civilian Jeep", and was recognized as a symbol of adventure.
