I'm giving this one a great send-off. Starting the journey at the oldest cache in the WORLD!
The goal is simple. Travel safely and gain lots of miles, friends, and photos. Send messages when you achieve a geocaching goal while carrying me. Photos of National Parks and landmarks are always great. Don't keep me too long, but if you are a accomplished traveler, take me along.
A few years ago I made the pilgrimage to the unique point on this globe.
45 deg North, 90 deg West. Located in the center of Wisconsin. the cache location is https://coord.info/GC229B and the name is "WORLD WIDE QUARTERS". After completing the find, you have to go to the travel office in Wausau to gain your awesome souvenier coin. IT'S HEAVY, but not a trackable.
I turned a photo of the coin into a trackable by combining it with a registered Dog tag. Your looking at it, presumeably. The dogtag stays home, but the tracking code and the laminated card goes on the road. The owner is from Wisconsin and Florida, but the very first stop will be to place it in MINGO cache GC30.
