This trackable is released by one of the 1st Apsley Kingfisher Scout troop patrols. The mission is to explore the world, and hopefully the trackable will be found by other Scouts.
Founded in the 9th Century, Hertfordshire is one of England’s historic Counties. Scouting in Hertfordshire began formally in 1908, with 16 Districts, after Percy Everett met with Lord Baden-Powell at a dinner party and was encouraged to form a Scouting structure in the County. Hertfordshire now covers 18 Districts, split into over 180 Groups. 1st Apsley Scouts are one of the largest Scout groups in Hertfordshire.
The Scouts are split into small groups called Patrols, each with a Patrol Leader. Many activities are based on outdoor pursuits and challenges, often with team challenges. Releasing this travel bug is for a Geocaching badge for the Scouts.
