To travel all over visiting scouts, old and young, offering friendship wherever it goes
As part of Baby Bug's boy scout Geocaching merit badge, he has created this travel bug. The patch attached to the tag is from his home council, The Mayflower Council in the commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA. This patch shows the friendship that developed between the English settlers and the Native Americans who lived here. We hope it reminds everyone of how we all need friends, even if they're different than us.
A Scout is a friend to all. He is a brother to other Scouts. He seeks to understand others. He respects those with ideas and customs other than his own.
