Leave Seychelles and let the coco de mer travel across the
ocean to the Central Park in New York City, USA. No matter if
the travelling route is not straight!
Home cache: Port Launay Marine Park, Mahe, Seychelles.
This travel bug is travelling with a small seed of Coco De Mer.
The Coco de mer tree (Lodoicea maldivica) is an endemic palm
tree on Seychelles. The origin is on the island Praslin,
although trees of this kind can be found on the other
granitic islands, too. The seed is the biggest in the world
(ca 20kg).
One day this travel bug would like to go back to its home
island Praslin on Seychelles.
