    A quick visit to this little piece of Paradise, in a little bay on Lake Taupo. We had to wade through the clear waters to reach the cache and spotted a couple of trout on the way. A beautiful secret cache site below the rocky cliff face.

    Took Visalia Unite for Diabetes TB out for some travels and photo fun. Visalia TB has been learning about the Legend of Pihanga. Mt Pihanga was hiding under a cloak of cloud, we will have to wait for another day to photograph Visalia and the mountain maiden "Pihanga".

    Kia Ora, Welcome to Aotearoa, New Zealand. Our "Unite for Diabetes" Travel Bug has arrived safely in the Land of the Long White Cloud. We will be pleased to set it free on its journey back to Visalia in California.

    This Travel Bug will be released in Turangi, the "Trout Fishing Capital of the World", a small town at the gateway to the Tongariro National Park, on the southern shores of Lake Taupo in the centre of the North Island of New Zealand. http://www.laketauponz.com/
