68gypsy here. I am a Garmin user. Just because. I have never used a Magellan so have nothing to compare the performance to. When I first got into caching I read some forum notes and the Garmin seemed to be the one talked about the most. Was able to find a high end one on line at 1/2 the price. Got my friend in Phoenix hooked on GC and we went to different stores and found a Garmin at Walmart. Bought the 59.99 special and I couldn't figure it out or maybe I was just lazy. Went back and got the 150.00 one which was closer to what I use, just not all the whistles and bells. Anyway. Thats my story and i'm sticking to it.
