Current Goal

This coin was part of a Geocoin race for Village Hall Series Geocoins
The race has now finished but please continue to help the coin travel and have photos taken at village halls and community centres. Please keep the coin within the United Kingdom.

Please DO NOT make visit logs (unless it is at a Village Hall Series cache where the cache is too small to drop off trackables).

 

 


The race started on 18th February 2020 which was 7 years to the day that the first Village Hall Series cache was placed and finished 31st December 2021. The winning geocoin belonged to El-Jo. Points were awarded for the following

Longest mileage jump when placed
The challenge was to get the longest mileage jump between caches when dropped off.
One point per whole mile on the final drop off log was awarded.
Visit logs did not count for this challenge.

100 points were awarded for every Geocacher that moved the coin.

The proxy TB that we have released for the VHS TB race is white plastic key ring with the Village Hall Series logo on it.

 

The Geocoin is an oval coin featuring the Village Hall Series logo. This also has a day glow background. The reverse is purple and silver swirls.

It seems most, if not all, village hall caches in this part of the world are those Flash jigsaw types - and many are also far too small for a bug like this. So dropped in a spot where parking at a village hall is suggested instead.

I was planning to drop this off at Weybourne, but a cache owner who hadn't changed the size of the cache when it was replaced with a micro meant that I couldn't... Visited a couple of village halls - I guess this will have to go in another cache.
