    Beautiful view of the Clearwater River, but the cache was small, and just seemed too "out in the open". (And since I'm very late logging this, I can say I'm glad I didn't leave it there, because the cache was stolen a few weeks later.)

    This is our first travel bug to find! We will be bringing it back to Portland, Oregon. We know a family whose son was dianosed with Diabetes at the age of 2. He has been the Portland Ambassabor for the American Diabetes Walk for 2 years and has done some great fundraising for them. He will be thrilled to learn about the travel bug and the awareness it is bringing throughout the US and the world through geocaching! Thanks!!

    When we saw this bug, we immediately thought of 2 things: the Japanese students who would be at Culture Jam at Suttle Lake with us, and this cache we'd visited earlier in Newport.

    Stopped by the batcave, said 'bye' to Batman, then stopped by Suttle Lake and met some special friends.

    • "Ina, Japan" with new friends at Suttle Lake Not too far from the caves at ICE is Suttle Lake United Methodist Camp. This was the week for the popular "Culture Jam" camp, when American and Japanese students get together to share fun, camping, and culture. They eagerly posed for a pic with Ina (Ina's in the middle).
