I have a friend in Germany : in Wiesloch, near Heidelberg. His name is Gert Weckesser. I wished ANDERHALVE CENT could meet him. So let us try to drop him off in a cache near Wiesloch !
MISSION COMPLETED !! Anderhalve Cent is in Wiesloch, staying with my friends ! THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO GAVE HIM/US A HAND : WELL DONE !
"ANDERHALVE CENT" (= one and a half cent) is a Dutch expression. It is used to describe a couple (of people) if one of them is very tall and the other one... very small. So they are not TWO people but just... ONE AND A HALF !
This fellow is made in wood and he is about 9 centimeters high. On his back side there is a small handle. Push it down and... his hat goes up and there comes another, smaller head, wearing the same hat, of course. Just look at the pictures to get the idea. I got it from a friend of mine. Underneath was a small cork so you could cork a bottle with it but I removed the cork because ANDERHALVE CENT couldn't stand straight.
