Ale... ze zpravy Diabetologie Libereckeho kraje za rok 2004...
Pres 26 % z lécených pacientu se setkalo s chronickou diabetickou komplikací – jednalo se bud o diabetickou nefropatii (10 %), retinopatii (12 %) ci diabetickou nohu (5 %).
Závažným následkem posledne zminované komplikace je amputace, které se muselo podrobit 282 pacientu (tzn. 1 % diabetiku).
