We made it to Shelton and camped with another grandson's geo family. We set out to visit the high steel bridge and drive another 1/2 hour to trailhead for 2 mile loop around Spider Lake.
Seriously out in the boondocks, we were amazed at how many people were on that trail!
Grandson knew of a couple caches on the lake trail and one hadn't been logged in 3 years! He really wanted to log it, so we made it a group effort and finally had it in hand after about 1/2 hour. Whew.
We traded out some swag and all 3 geo groups penned the log.
