This Ballast Point bottle opener was lovingly tagged by the one and only Tung8 in his desire to get me to embrace the %proxy trackable. When a guy goes to this effort to get you to do a %proxy, you better do it! Thanks Tung8 and I am sure it is only a matter of time before it ends up being lost. Which means now this one will probably go on forever just to prove me wrong!
This proxy is from the Great Pyramid of Giza Wonders of the World Tag (the tag is in the trackable photo). The Wonders of the World Promotion was launched in 2020. As The Rona impacted all of our lives, Groundspeak made all of their cool promotions last entirely too long and so completing this promotion and getting the souvenirs really was not that big of a deal for casual cachers. I even went so far as to make a challenge to not actively attempt to complete the promotion and just see when I would complete it. You can read more about that here: Wonders of the World UnChallenge. It took me 88 days to complete the promotion without actively seeking out any of the wonders.
