Das Schloss Heidecksburg ist das ehemalige Residenzschloss der Fürsten von Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt im thüringischen Rudolstadt und liegt rund 60 Meter über dem Altstadtkern. Die Burg wurde im 13. Jahrhundert errichtet und nach einem verehrenden Brand 1735 weitgehend zerstört. 1737 begann der Wiederaufbau, es folgten Umbauten und viele Restaurationen bis zum heutigen Tag.

The Heidecksburg Castle ist the former residence of the princes of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. It is located in Rudolstadt, Thuringia and is 60 Meters above of the old town.The castle was built in the 13th century and then destroyed by a horrific fire in 1735. 1737 marked the beginning of the restauration which caused in many renovations until today.
