About This Item

Flip Me Magic GeoCoin

When I find a GeoCoin in a cache, I always hesitate to pick it up because I don't know its mission. I decided to release this coin to fix this dilemma. Here are the instructions:

  1. When you find this coin in a cache, write down its number and then flip it in the air. Catch it and read the center piece.
  2. If the coin shows "My sources say DNF", put it back in, but feel free to log it as a "Discovery"
  3. If the coin shows "Signs point to a smiley", take it with you to the next suitable cache
  4. At the next cache, flip it in the air again. Catch it and read the center piece.
  5. If the coin shows "My sources say DNF", put it in and log it as a drop.
  6. If the coin shows "Signs point to a smiley", log it has a drop and an immediate pick-up and go back to step 3.
