I want to visit any and all fire stations that I can, each one has a memorial, statue, or plaque out front, please take my picture by it if you can, also there may be a cache near by to find. Most of all PLEASE keep me moving.

Photo taken in Woodland Park, Colorado, where we live and close to our home, have a very good view of Pikes Peak. At 14,115 feet (4302 meters), Pikes Peak was the inspiration to Katharine Lee Bates who, in 1895, wrote "America the Beautiful". In the attached photo, Pikes Peak is the tallest mountain, near the center of the picture. Also, Pikes Peak is the site of the second oldest auto race in the US – the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), second only to the Indianapolis 500. The PPIHC celebrated its 100th anniversary on June 26, 2016 and because the race was not run in a few years, the 100th running of the race was held on April 26, 2022. Ah, we meet again, Fire Rescue One ! I retrieved this nice trackable from the owner's cache at his place back in May of 2022, and this trackable and I have crossed paths once again. Will move it along, and drop it off in another cache soon.

We had hoped to be able to take this to many more fire stations, but life got the best of us, and with us being so busy we wanted to make sure it kept moving more than we could commit to. I’m hoping that somebody else picks this up that has more time to fulfill the trackable owner’s desire.
