A good friend of mine has diabetes and is socially committed on the Young Portuguese Diabetics Association, working on ending social stereotypes around the disease.

Every year they organise a major mountain climb ("Mount Blanche", "Kilimanjaro", this year it will ne the "Toubkal") in order to prove that a diabetic (that has correct medical support) can do things others just dream of.
