Current Goal

My goal is to travel to a different variety of current hedgehog habitats . I hope to one day make it to not only Europe, but also to Africa, Central Asia, Middle East, and New Zealand! 

About This Item

There are a total of 17 species of hedgehogs throughout the world. The hedgehog is a carnivorous animal native to Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and select parts of the Middle East. Hedgehogs can be found in a variety of habitats including woodlands and grasslands. While within the US many elect to keep hedgehogs as pets, though they are not native to the area and many states make it illegal to own one. Hedgehogs are adorable little creatures that are often characterized by a soft belly and a coat full of quills. They are remarkable little creatures!
