I would love to have this cache see Madeira Beach, Florida, (specifically John's Pass) or get to Disney World.
My late father LOVED kitschy things. We were forever going to Hardee's or Burger King to get the latest character glasses or figurines. The Noid. Flinstones glasses. Smurfs glasses. Budweiser frogs. California Raisins. He couldn't get enough. We enjoyed many an ice cream cone as our "required purchase" to get these items. And every time I see them, it brings a smile to my face.
He worked for Northwest Airlines for 41 years prior to his passing. Because of this, we had the good fortune to do a lot of travelling domestically and abroad. He instilled in me my love for travel and adventure. And now one of his beloved raisins will get to travel, too.
One of his (and my) favorite places that we went often was Florida.
