Current Goal

Gorak's Scouts have standing orders. Beta,
Gorak's 2nd scout, needs to go to places of UFO history, as well as other types of places. We all know the places, Crop Circles, Roswell, Alien encouners, Area 51,... Remember, any encounter with the Scout is an Alien encounter.

About This Item

Gorak's Scout Beta

Gorak is sending out his 2nd scout to find out what is known about the other visitors. Alpha was sent out and went to Roswell, before being captured by NASA. After his capture, he was strapped to an X-ray telescope and sent aloft by a weather balloon. After the balloon crashed, Alpha escaped from NASA, with the help of ptlycly. ptlycly is a meteorological prognosticating goecaching hero. Alpha was taken to Oregon after that and disappeared. Gorak's 1st scout may have been abducted by the grays, he was disguised as a gray. Beta has undergone extensive reconstructive surgery and believes that it can escape the gray's notice. Please help Beta in it's travels. Refer to waypoint GCC6AB to learn about Beta's origin.

I am placing this one here hoping someone will take it where it needs to go. I couldnt dro .it off where I wanted to because everytime I tried something came up. But hey at least I am able to.het this guy up and moving again after the long break.

Been out to the Lakebed three different times to grab the cache, but something always got in the way. I guess they are right when they say third time is the charm.

The first alien landing occurred here in the movie "Mars Attacks" (1996).
In real life the name of the town was shown on a sign in the movie but no actual filming was done here.

Couldn't find a cache anywhere in the U.K. big enough to hold this scout. Still wanted to get the miles tracked, so used a cache we found in London.
