Many years ago my dad used to travel to Germany for business. He heard the legend of the Christmas Pickle and told my mom about it. She thought it was a great idea to add to our family traditions however, she didn't think it would be fair to give only one of her kids an additional present so she bought two pickles, one for each of us. As the years went on we both grew up and got married. Now Mom felt bad that only two of us would get an extra present so she bought two more pickles. Any excuse to spoil all of her kids! Please take this Christmas Pickle and hide it in as many tress as possible. Perhaps one day it will end up in Germany!
