Staying a few days in Grand Marias and headed up here. We hiked to the high falls first and then came back and found this one.
And as usual there was only 2 TB`s ( 1 we took ) and no geocoins in the cache. Disappointing to see this happen so much in the state park caches. I took the chance and left one of my coins in the cache.

Sorry about not logging this sooner. We plan to drop off the coin in Interstate State Park this Thursday, weather permitting. :)

Edit: Weather didn't permit Thurs. trip to Interstate, so dropped coin off at Banning State Park on Friday 8/29 :)

OK....We did go back to drop off the Benchmark coin, after the previous week's forest fire incident. We made the climb up to the Devils Head Fire Tower, in Pike National Forest, Colorado. -----> http://www.fs.fed.us/r2/psicc/spl/devils_head.shtml

As requested we took some nice pic's of your coin up there, with the official Benchmark for Devils Head. And coincidently there was a nearby cache with a view of the tower to drop the coin in. It does require a 1.5 mile hike in to 9500 feet. The Tower sits higher at 9748 Feet. See our log in "Mulligan's Stew" cache, Colorado, on 10-08-07 for some more cool associated pic's.
