"Rock City."
It's simply one of the greatest openings to a Broadway musical ever written and ever recorded. A bunch of traveling salesman jabber, talk over each other, loudly agree (sort of) about whether they accept credit and what's old fashioned, and --of course-- the evils of Professor Harold Hill.
Make sure you check out the man standing on the right in the picture. Funniest performer in the scene. Or, better yet, look it up on YouTube!
A quote from the song:
Cash for the merchandise
Cash for the button hooks
Cash for the cotton goods
Cash for the hard goods
Cash for the fancy goods
Cash for the soft goods
Cash for the noggins
And the piggins
And the firkins
Cash for the hog's head,
Cask, and demijohns
Cash for the crackers
And the pickles and the flypaper.
Cash. Cache. Who cares?
Yes, the musical takes place in Iowa. But, in honor of this glorious musical (and the supreme talent of Meredith Wilson and Robert Preston, among many others) this trackable wants to make it to as close to that heartland of stubborness and common sense, the Great State of Missouri.
Thanks for keeping this trackable moving and passing on the fun! And don't forget it, "You gotta know the territory!"

This trackable is a first cousin to this guy.
This trackable is a braided metal wire with a blue geocaching symbol trackable on it, a few pieces of stainless steel hardware I bought from a traveling salesman even though I had and have absolutely no use for them (he was that good --I had my wallet out before he even told me what he was selling), and two keys that open Harold Hill's briefcase. If you can find him.
Keep thie guy moving and the fun going!
