Planet Earth

The goal of "Planet Earth" is mainly just to travel the world (er, I mean the solar system), but if you'd like to take photos of it feel free to do so.  Be creative!  :-)

(Be sure to hide the tracking code when taking any pics with the trackable).

Continuing my theme of naming most of my trackables after songs, "Planet Earth" is song written and performed by Duran Duran from their first album, "Duran Duran," released in 1981.  The song reached #12 in their native U.K., #8 in Australia, and #14 in Ireland.  The album was unsuccessful upon its first release in the U.S., but was later re-released in 1983 after the success of their second album, "Rio," and subsequently reached #10.  Among others, the song has been covered by Cheryl Cole and William Shatner. (Yes, *that* William Shatner. LOL).

Yes, this is a slightly large trackable and will possibly generate some difficulty for members trying to find a geocache large enough for it to fit in.  However, it was something I had on hand and was perfectly suited for this tag.  Please select your trackables responsibly, and if you don't think you'll find a large enough geocache for the trackable in the near future, please don't take it.  Thanks very much!
