Cat Toy's goal is to travel to the west coast and back to us in Ithaca, New York. Along the way, please introduce him to cats of fellow geocachers and take his picture with them. When he's made it as far west as he can go, redirect him and send him home!
UPDATE: It's been just under a year since Cat Toy's launch - and he has made it to California! Thanks to all of you who helped Cat Toy get to the west coast. The photos have been a hoot - cachers are so clever! He'll be getting a jump on the eastbound trip by catching a ride to Arkansas in July. Wendell and I look forward to a reunion with our first travel bug.
This cute little travel bug had a first life as a toy for my cat, Wendell. Wendell has been less than impressed with this fellow (as you might well detect from the posted photo); he totally ignores him and chooses to play with other toys that squeak and rattle. So, I've decided to launch him (the toy, not the cat!) as a travel bug. Maybe absence will make the heart grow fonder!
