Current Goal

HI I am Amerigo the Travel Camera bug. My mission to see the historical sights along the Mississippi river and to see one or more of the new river boat cruise ships, and perhaos to see something of the sites of New Orleans. Perhaps if I could start in St Louis and head south. If you don't have a digital camera available which to send me an interesting picture, perhaps you will use my camera. When the roll is full, please use a self addresssed and postage paid envelope to send the film back. When my mission is finished, please do what you will with the box and camera, but please turm me around and send me back to Thousand Oaks, California. I'd like to be home by September of 2006. In advance of all. Thank you. Should the camera and film be damaged or stolen enroute, please place me in a plastic sandwich bag so I may continue my journey. Thank you!

Amerigo the traveling camera bug.

Amerigo The camera bug travels in a 9"X 6" X 3" rubbermaid container with his camera and film. He is too large to put in all but the biggest of caches, but if you could please place him beside an adequately conceled cache until some kind soul will take him on, I'm sure the plan will succeed.

We are going to take this travel bug to New York City and take some pictures of the sights. We are NYC bound on May 10, 2006. We will bring to Western NY and place in a cache by May 16, 2006. This is a very cool travel bug!!

Grabbed this from Tripledogdare in the parking lot of a small park in Pittsford NY. We were on our way to an easter egg hunt. Tried to grab a first to find on the way. ended up 6th to find i think.
