Global Caching Geocoin

Am 05. November 2006 stellte crake, ein bekannter US-Coindesigner der Anfangsjahre, seine neue Geocoin im Geocaching-Forum vor.

Global Caching ist eine Geocoin, die von J & K und Christopher Rake (crake) 2006 gestaltet wurde, so steht es auf dem Rand der Münze, die in einer Auflage von 500 Stück erschien.

Die 50 x 4 mm große Antik Silber-Geocoin ehrt die verschiedenen Kulturen der Welt und zeigt ihre Verbundenheit durch Geocaching.
Die Vorderseite ist eine 3D-Darstellung der Erde mit Blick auf Afrika, Europa und Asien. Umlaufend steht der Titel "GEOCACHING - UNITING THE WORLD".
Auf der Rückseite sind 8 Vertreter aus der ganzen Welt in traditioneller Kleidung, die soft-enamel gefärbt ist, abgebildet.
Alle stehen auf dem zentralen Geocachingsymbol.
