As a trackable proxy for the Mom medallion that Christine got me for Christmas and I thought an 18 Wheeler was a good choice as she drove transport for a living for over 20 years!!! And what she lacked in height and strength, she made up for in determination and attitude.
In an industry generally (at the time, 1995ish) driven, lol pun intended by men she put up with alot of BS. And yet has covered over 2 million miles, been in every state along with most provinces & delivered some pretty cool stuff and went from trainee to owning her trucking company with 3 of her own trucks! Nothing can stop her...... except for 2016 when her driving career abruptly ended!
She walked away with a fractured T12 and C1 along with halving her scalp peeled back and struggles to this day with a TBI and constant pain and complications BUT, in her own words "she ain't ready to go yet"! Did I mention determination? I think I would have given in by now, NO JOKE! I can only dream to have the strength she has.
