About This Item

Scouting for food is is an ongoing annual program for Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA This began in 1985 by the Greater Saint Louis Area Council. Each year Scouts and Cub Scouts leave plastic bags for their neighbors soliciting canned food. After a week the Scouts go pick up the bags and take the bags directly to the local food bank. This event happens in March annually. This is helpful to the local community giving backto those people in need. I encourage you to participate in the program or donate to your local food bank
