This bug is an escape artist. It wants to get into and out of the most difficult caches. Please don't place it into a cache with less than 5 total stars (difficulty plus terrain).
Although Harry Houdini -- whose real name was Ehrich Weiss -- was born in Hungary, he claimed Appleton, Wisonsin as his home. The Outagamie County Historical Society maintains the Houdini Historical Center. During a recent trip to the Appleton area, we bought this set of (really cheap) handcuffs at the gift shop there.
Houdini was known for his fabulous escapes. He escaped from handcuffs, straight jackets, jails, locked milk jugs, water tanks, and anything else he could think of. This pair of (really cheap) handcuffs wants to make up for its poor quality by making its escape from really tough caches.
Audiences were thrilled by Houdini's ability to stay under water for long periods during his escape. Likewise, the handcuffs don't mind staying in tough caches for the time it takes them to escape.
Just be sure to watch this travel bug closely while it is in your possesion, lest it escape from you, too!
