Current Goal

I would like to eventually return to visit my home in Neuhausen, Germany.  I haven't been home in 30 years.

About This Item

Back in 1982, while stationed in Germany in the Army, a friend of mine talked me into going on a Volksmarch, or a People's Walk. At the end of the 10 kilometer walk, you were awarded a keepsake. This Rotenhane was that award. 30 years later, I'm still asking myself "Why would anyone walk 6 miles for a plastic chicken?"
