My Mission is to meet travelers from all over.
Please tell me a story of when you were lost and how you found your way out. I will start.
On 2/19/2011 I was out at night (afterbedtime for my two micros) searching for GC25JGG Mr Rick's Geo Cache. Itwas a 50 cal ammo can so the find was not that hard but we were disoriented after the find. I thought I would take this opportunity with my 12yo daughter and 8yo son to teach them how to identify ways to find our way out of the woods. What I actual did was scare them so they did not go out at night caching with me for over a year. I encouraged them to listen for familiar sounds that would bring them back towardwhere we parked. I could hear the highway traffic but all they could hear were the creepy woods sounds.
This was a successful find but not one of my brightest dad hours.
Let's hear your stories.
